  • Intelligent keyboard

BlackBerry’s iconic keyboard is back, but with a difference. Now you can set shortcuts to every button, opening apps in an instant.

  • Powerful camera

The 12MP rear camera is powered by a Sony IMX378 sensor, and has large pixels to capture lots of light for bright photos.

  • Android-powered

The KEYone runs on the world’s most popular mobile operating system, Android by Google.

Design and display

Breaking the mould

The KEYone has a 4.5-inch display with Full HD resolution - the distinctly different shape making way for the smart keyboard. It takes up less room than an on-screen one, and leaves you with more display to play with.

Keyboard shortcuts

Each of the 52 keys can be programmed to support a shortcut with a long-press. So, you could save ‘I” for Instagram or “C” for camera - it’s up to you. There’s also a secret fingerprint scanner inside the space bar.

Built with expertise

On the back of the smartphone is a powerful 12MP camera, built with Sony’s industry-leading camera expertise. The sensor features large 1.55μm pixels, to let in loads of light for bright and colourful photos, and it can shoot video in 4K.

Front-facing lens

On the front of the phone is a secondary camera, able to film video in Full HD. The 8MP sensor is perfect for video chatting, using the likes of Skype, or Google’s own, Duo

Under the hood

Super secure

With BlackBerry’s security software, the KEYone is one of the most secure Android smartphones available. You’ll receive monthly security updates - free to download – and the DTEK security app comes pre-installed on the device.

Plenty of power

A 2.0GHz octa-core processor is in charge of keeping all your favourite apps and games running smoothly, backed up by 3GB RAM. If that’s not enough there’s also a huge 3,505mAh battery, which is one of the largest cell capacities available at the moment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Android Blackberry with keyboard at last! I have had my KEYone for about a month now having previously had a Blackberry Q10 and had been waiting to change it really for any decent Android phone with a keyboard. I am very pleased with the KEYone. I am actually on my second one as the first had a software crash after an update on day 2, but Carphone Warehouse were brilliant at replacing it quickly and I have had no trouble with my second one. I have had no trouble getting used to the keyboard after the Q10 and am enjoying having so many apps available to me after the slow death of anything being developed for the Blackberry OS. Battery life is phenomenal! For me the only downside is the size of it, just that bit too big for my pocket and a little bulky, guess I was spoilt by the great Q10. Overall I am very pleased i finally made the jump. Keyone is a great phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Android Phone I was very skeptical about buying a BB with a keyboard especially when you have have the Apple and Samsung phones around. Plus I was not sure about 3GB RAM, BB Brand value, Screen Size and functionalities. I have been using an Android phone since 2009. The phones I have used the most are Samsung starting from S2 to Note 4 & then 5. I was very confused bw BB, Samsung S8 and Note 8 (which is about to be launched). Made up my mind and bought the BBK1. So far everyone has complemented me for the style and uniqueness of the phone. It looks very professional ans stylish. The speed of the phone is good, functionality is brilliant especially the split screen that you can use while working, the battery life is awesome. One charge will last you easily over a day. The keyboard is awesome both for typing and the overall functionality. Not too sure about the camera. Most importantly the price is brilliant when you compare it with Samsung. Honestly I dont think I will go back to Samsung ever. The only missing bit is the "Stylus". I am sure that the KeyTwo will be with Stylus. The only down side is.. you will not be able to find a lot of accessories. Dont waste your money on S8, S8+ or Note.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning To keep it short: Exceptional things - battery, feel, size, keyboard shortcuts Good things - camera, speed (especially regarding the 625 processor inside), screen Disappointing things - the screens fall off... my second one seems to be holding up a bit better, volume via the speaker and the slot (not a major issue but not great when in a noisy environment.
