You may have to pay an up-front charge for some iD Mobile new phone deals. The amount will depend on the phone but it won’t be as much as buying the phone outright. As a general rule, it’s the more expensive phones - such as the latest phones from the big brands - that tend to have an up-front cost attached to them.
If your handset is in good working order and you’re happy with it, you don’t have to upgrade to a new phone, you could choose a iD Mobile SIM-only upgrade instead. Yes. If you have a change of heart, you're totally welcome to cancel your upgrade. Just remember, you've got a window of 14 days from when you first hopped on board with your new iD plan, either through our website or over the phone. Please note that cancelling your Direct Debit won’t automatically cancel your plan.
Upgrades made in a Currys store might not be eligible for cancellation.
