The best Nothing Phone for you

Picking the perfect Nothing Phone for you is easy. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly phone that still features all the bells and whistles, the latest Nothing Phone (2a) model is a great option. It offers ultra-smooth performance all neatly packaged in a sleek design. This model also boasts stellar battery life, and the camera setup is very similar to the flagship phone – the Nothing (2). At the same time, the Nothing (2) specs boast a slightly better screen (at the cost of battery life) and have a full Glyph interface. This is a feature from the Nothing (1) and it’s where the LEDs embedded deliver custom LED patterns for calls and notifications but also display a timer and battery life. The right phone for you depends on your needs but you’ll get a great piece of tech no matter which one you opt for.

If you want to snap up either the Nothing (2) or the Nothing (2a), you can , sell your old mobile phone and get an even better deal. Just trade in your secondhand phone and we’ll pay you cash.

Why not pick from older-gen Nothing Phones, instead?

Older-gen Nothing Phones also offer incredible value with many similar features to the latest models. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on performance, consider Nothing Phone (1). This model still provides excellent camera quality, sleek design, and robust performance at a more accessible price point, making them a smart choice for savvy shoppers. The Nothing Phone (2) is the flagship model and continues to offer impressive specs and user experiences but will cost you a little more than the Nothing (1).

Nothing phones FAQs

What's so special about the Nothing phone?

There’s been quite a bit of hype surrounding Nothing phones and the brand itself, but is it all worth it? Really, only time will tell whether the brand will succeed long term. But for now, the phones are reviewing well, and Nothing seems to be bringing a breath of fresh air to the industry, which is what it aimed to do.

Who makes Nothing phones?

Nothing phones are made by Nothing Technology Limited, a British company based in London. The company was announced in January 2021 by founder Carl Pei, who previously co-founded Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus. Nothing’s first smartphone - Phone (1) - was released the following year.

Is the Nothing phone an actual phone?

Yes, the Nothing phone is a real phone. In fact, there are currently three of them: Phone (1), Phone (2), and Phone (2a).

Are Nothing phones high-end?

Nothing phones have a high-end look and feel, with some high-end features, all at a mid-range price. While they may not quite rival the top flagship models from Apple and Samsung yet, Nothing is a young brand still establishing itself, and it may not be long before its phones are up there.

Is the Nothing phone a copy of Apple?

From the front and sides, Nothing phones do look similar to the iPhone but when you look at the back, it’s quite different. The whole back panel is transparent and there are LED strips - known as glyphs - which are used in various ways.

What is the difference between an iPhone and a Nothing phone?

The main difference between iPhones and Nothing phones is the operating system they use; iPhone uses Apple’s iOS and Nothing uses Android. Another big difference, an obvious distinction when you look at the phones, is the Nothing’s transparent back with glyph interface - a unique feature to the brand.

Are Nothing phones Android or iOS?

Nothing phones are Android with the brand’s own skin on top. A skin which looks very different to stock Android and is considered by many, one of the better skins on the market. The latest model in the range - the Nothing Phone (2a) - comes with Nothing OS 2.5 powered by Android 14.

Are Nothing phones better than Samsung?

It depends on what you’re looking for in a phone. In terms of tech, the Nothing Phone specs won’t beat Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S24 series, but if you’re looking for a top-tier phone with a more wallet-friendly, mid-tier price tag, Nothing phones are a winner.

Are Nothing phones made from Gorilla Glass?

Yes, all Nothing phone models are made from Corning® Gorilla® Glass on both the display and the back of the phone for extra toughness.

Are Nothing phones secure?

Nothing take appropriate precautions to protect your personal data, and there’s no reason to believe that your data is any less secure than with a more established phone brand. However, there were some concerns over the security of Nothing Chats - the Nothing Phone (2) messaging platform that’s compatible with iPhone’s iMessage - as you have to sign in to a third-party app with your Apple ID. Nothing Chats has now been removed from the Play store until further notice.
