Nokia 2720 Flip is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor I thought this would be much better than it has turned out. Virtually impossible to use the internet unless you have the patience of Job. Incredibly clunky navigation. OK for phoning and messaging but I needn't have spent £90 for a phone to do that. Why the phone doesn't revert back to the 'home' screen when you close it, I can't understand. Quirky in a very bad way. I've not tried the camera.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from £90 paperweight Bought for my wife because I thought Nokia would be better than any other flip phone WRONG! The battery life is dismal , I contacted Nokia support only to be told that it would last 28days if you didn't make any calls and kept it at the perfect temperature

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really impressed with this phone I bought this phone as an interim phone after losing my iPhone and I’m really loving using it. My base requirements where WhatsApp and Mobile hotspot. Although the t9 text input was initially annoying I realised you can use the inbuilt google assistant to dictate text and search the internet. The camera is really bad but never intended to use it. Overall I’m enjoying using the phone, the flip aspect is giving me real nostalgic vibes and the fact it’s got 4g means the hotspot is super fast. Battery is lasting around two days even using the hotspot with my iPad for a few hours a day. I’m currently in no rush to replace with a smartphone but I guess that’s because I now use my iPad a few times a day to catch up on instagram and emails etc. Would highly recommend if your looking for a phone with less features but still need connectivity. Also the activity app syncs with Strava which was a pleasant surprise, I wasn’t expecting to be able to use the phone to track exercises but I’ve been regularly using it and it’s really accurate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unpleasant and uncormfortable to use I wanted a feature phone that would run WhatsApp and hoped that this would fit the bill. Sadly it fails in every respect. Texting is painfully slow, the interface for this (and everything else) being dire, and the process for texting is made extra tricky by the large size of the buttons - on my Nokia Asha I can type very fast with ease. No one handed texting here - the size of the keys and the top-heavy weight of the screen means that you have to hold it in one hand and type in the other. One-handed typing equals the phone tipping backwards and my thumb doesn't reach all the keys anyway. When I hold it in my left hand and type with the right I keep hitting the Google Assistant button as well. So...not good for texting then. Camera is really poor, meaning that really there is no point in me WhatsApping anything to anyone. So...useless for that. Voice call quality is worse than my little Asha. How about build quality? For me, this is the worst aspect of all and this phone is a real shocker. When I want to open it, the edge of the half with the screen is sharp because the cheap plastic has a razor-like rim. open it and take a fine layer of skin off your finger. Cannot for the life of me think why you'd design a flip phone that really hurts to flip open? The keys half of the phone has edges that are a little rounder, but it still actually hurts to hold this thing and the quality of the plastic is much worse than my Asha. The whole thing feels really cheap and really is more like a toy phone than a real one. The Nokia 2070 tries to key into a market, but you'd be better off giving in and getting a smartphone if you want to use WhatsApp. I was looking forward to my 'upgrade', but have gone back to my Asha. This was a missed opportunity by Nokia: there are plenty of people who don't want a smartphone, but we still want soomething that is pleasant to use and that actually fulfills its basic function. If you use a dumb phone then you expect that the designer has thought about things like keys...a case of poor design and poor functionality. I can put uo with a clunky interface, but not a phone that I can't type on. I imagine most old dumb phones would be far nicer to use than this, so save your money. If you really want a flip phone then the Doro ones are rather better made, and the keys on those are easier to use as well.
