Sony Xperia 1 II is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Floyd8794 from It's got the power - to frustrate! I don't know how I ended up with this garbage - wanted to be different. Has to be the worst phone I had in years. The main camera is only just average, if you want your photos to look decent you really have to play with exposure, iso and other settings. This simply defeats the purpose of a phone camera. Front camera is something you would find on a 10 years old device - it's simply shocking. Sony claims this phone is for professional photographers and not for taking selfies! What about video calling?! There are a lot of problems with the rest of this device. Wireless charging will stop and a message will appear telling me it's not placed properly. When charging via cable it will keep beeping at me all night as if the cable was unplugged and put back in - I have to turn off all notifications otherwise I'll get no sleep. I have to delete pictures and videos from my gallery on a weekly basis now, otherwise taking a picture takes 30 seconds save. Flagship phone costing more than £1k! Don't believe the hype and all positive sponsored reviews. Yes the screen is nice and speakers sound decent but that's about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ralph20211972 from It is an excellent phone. Please don't listen to other people's comments that you can see some of them with poor knowledge about phone reliability and performance they wrote some negative comments and some of them wrote some funny stuffs like 16 gig ram and 512 storage..... totaly bias and absurd. This phone with 256 gig storage and 8 gig ram and an expandable memory up to 1 tb is more than enough for every user.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ollie93 from Sleek and stylish Had this phone for 3 weeks it's lovely to hold being 21:9 aspect ratio and being a true 4k oled the picture quality is stunning it's not quite as bright as some phones but it's as bright as my old Xperia xz2 and I only had issues with that at the beach in summer. A friend of mine has the Samsung s20 5g (not the ultra) and the image quality taking the same picture was ever so slightly better on the s20 5g using standard app with full auto however this Xperia 1 ii has a much faster processor better build quality and better screen plus not many people will have one and it's a very classy phone video quality is spot on though and it has good image stabilization. A couple of other little niggles I have are the usual Sony led flash / torch which is dimmer than any other non Sony phone I've seen and the headphone amp for the dedicated 3.5mm headphone Jack doesn't go that loud with a big pair of over ear hifi headphones although their not designed for mobiles anyway and lastly the selfie camera isn't that good actually worse than my Xperia xz2 but most people want to look better in selfies not have all their imperfections shown up so I don't think it really matters much and most apps that use the selfie cam usually downgrade the image quality anyway like Skype and Snapchat. So overall I am really pleased with my Sony Xperia 1 ii but I really wanted the Samsung Note20 ultra I just couldn't afford it if you're coming from a flagship phone from 2019 I'd give this one a miss but if you're upgrading from a top end or midrange phone from 2018 you'll notice a huge improvement !! Thanks for reading all this hope it helps :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ian12 from Just above average Good: Decent battery life Good OLED screen And 5G Bad: Most of Sony's custom features like Dynamic Vibration and Side Sense are of dubious value and poorly implemented. Sony's camera auto mode processing is inconsistent, showing obvious weakness in anything but perfect light. The telephoto camera also tends to produce hazy shots, and the ultrawide is more distorted at the edges than other phones. No 120Hz refresh rate No 512GB storage No 16GB ram No fast wireless charging No reverse wireless charging Lack of 4K recording No night mode in the camera app
