  • Water resistant design

A spot of rain never hurt anyone. And, with the Neo’s water resistant body, that’s never been truer.

Design and display

A unique, ergonomic design

Samsung designed the Neo to directly follow the Galaxy S5. Its smooth lines and perforated rear provides a great grip in your hand. And the slim build makes sure it fits easily into your pocket.

A water resistant body

Despite the compact design, Samsung has made the Neo water resistant so you don’t have to worry about rain or spilt drinks. It’s certified as IP67, meaning it can survive in a metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

Camera

Keep everything in focus

The camera on the Galaxy S5 Neo lets you take top photos thanks to a super-quick autofocus. It takes just 0.3-seconds to line up a sharp shot – faster than you can blink.

Improved selfies

There’s no denying that selfies are all the rage these days, and that’s certainly still true with the Neo. With a high-quality 5MP front-facing camera, your Instagram account will look top drawer.

Under the hood

Need for speed

The Neo’s processor is built for speed. At times, life demands we tend to multiple things at once, and with the 1.6GHz octa-core processor, you’ll never be left waiting around.

Go longer between charges

And you can keep enjoying everything all day. The Galaxy S5 Neo battery is huge, and comes with a little trick. Ultra Power Saving Mode greatly extends the battery life, allowing 10% charge to last for almost 24 hours.

Other features

An all in one fitness device

With the Neo you can track your exercises, what calories you’re eating or drinking, your weight and even your stress levels. The built-in heart rate monitor gives you real data to work with and an excellent Coach feature helps keep you motivated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by zach from The s5 neo is ok but buy an s6 i have had this for 6 months so far and i it sort of disappointing the camera is definitely good with it 16 megapixel f/1.9 aperture rear facing camera and the 5 mp front facing camera especially for the price of around 300 pounds or almost £20 a month at the starting price the battery life is also good and better optimisation with android 6.0 the features are great on this phone but the heart rate sensor is slow and in my opinion dosent work properly the screen is nice with a full hd super amoled display what i would recomend getting a good screen protector since i droped mine the ease of use is alright the design is not very good because it is all plastic but it is waterproof the specs of the phone are average but at least on my s5 neo on youtube i cant watch 1080p video at 60 fps because the video freezes so overall it has a good camera good battery life ok features a great display decent specs and software but i would recommend buying an s6 instead and its just a little bit more money but it is definitely better

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ps36 from Slooowwwwwwww I bought this from carphone 2 months ago on the Id network. It's unbelievably slow. The title of this review only has lots of w's because it doesn't register the first w until you've pressed it five times. It's on lollipop which is supposed to be slow but even deleting the cache doesn't fix it. I've had an original s5 for 2 years and it's great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ChrisM from Huge waste of money I bought this to use as a sim only deal and within the warantee period, the screen flickered crazily. I had to send it back for repair, as Samsung have a no replacement policy. I was without it for a month! There was no sense of concern whatsoever by Samsung. Last night (six months later), I couldn't turn it off so took the battery out and reinserted, and it won't switch on at all. I've just ordered an iPhone SE, having been a loyal Apple customer for many years. As far as I'm concerned, this product isn't fit for purpose, nor is Samsung's 'customer service' ethos.
