If you have an eligible Apple or Samsung smartphone we are able to offer you a swap. Details of the make and models which are eligible for this service can be found in the table above. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer this service for leased phones.
You can choose any of the smartphones we offer as a swap to be upgraded to. We offer Apple iPhone 7, Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Apple iPhone 8, Apple iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus as smartphones you can be upgraded to when you swap your old smartphone.
No, if you want to change make, model, size or colour that’s fine by us. We offer you full flexibility with this service, you can even choose to downgrade if you want to! Come and talk to us in store to understand the price for your chosen smartphone if it is not displayed in the table above. All Swap It smartphones are Black, except iPhone 8's, which are Space Grey.
Yes, if your smartphone is part of the range offered for Swap It you can swap for the same make and model. Come and talk to us instore to find out the price to swap your smartphone for a good as new one.
You don't need to have purchased your smartphone from us. We offer to swap Apple and Samsung smartphones no matter where you bought the phone from. However, we cannot accept any smartphones that were built for a US Region.
This service is available for smartphones with a cracked or smashed screen damage. If you also have a fault with your battery we will be able to offer you a swap for your smartphone for the same price. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a swap if there are any additional faults with your smartphone. We will perform verification checks on your smartphone as part of the service to ensure your smartphone is eligible to be swapped.
To keep your data safe and make sure we can swap your phone for a replacement as quickly as possible, we recommend that you please complete the following checklist before coming into store:
We know it's important to resolve any issues with your smartphone as quickly as possible. Offering a swap for an upgraded replacement smartphone rather than a repair enables us to get a fully working smartphone to you quicker, without having to wait up to 10 days while your old smartphone is sent for repair, fixed and then returned to you.
The replacement smartphone is refurbished. Our refurbished smartphones are rigorously checked and good as new - not just re-boxed. We challenge you to tell the difference to a brand new smartphone. We check the screen, body and battery, and replace them if necessary. You’ll also get a 12-month warranty.
Your refurbished smartphone will come in a plain unbranded box. Inside, you’ll find the smartphone itself. All Samsung Swap It smartphones will include a charging cable (type-C).
All our refurbished smartphones are unlocked, meaning you can use any network SIM card with the smartphone.
All of our refurbished smartphones come with a 12-month warranty from Team Knowhow, so you can relax knowing that if there are any bumps in the road, you’re covered. Don’t worry though, every phone in our range is fully inspected by a qualified engineer, and has passed a rigorous quality control test before it’s sold to you.

* Example is swapping a broken Apple iPhone 6S 32GB for a good as new Apple iPhone 7 32GB Black smartphone for £250, *prices are subject to change due to trade in device valuation at point of sale. Available for screen repairs only which means chips & cracks to the screen only. Cracked back glass is accepted for selected Samsung devices. Damage to the battery is acceptable. Liquid damage or bending of the casing of the phone will not be accepted. Customers can choose to upgrade to a different make, model, memory size or colour. If your chosen device is not in stock in stock, a replacement device can be delivered to a chosen address the next day. Free next day delivery, except Saturday and Sunday. Saturday and Sunday delivery will be charged at £7.50. Replacement device will be deemed “fully refurbished” and supplied with a 12-month device warranty. Device warranty will cover any manufacturer defects or faults. Any faults or damage seen to be customer caused will be deemed out of warranty. Faulty devices must be exchanged when ordering the replacement device. “Exchanged” faulty devices will require a diagnostic test to verify any insurance claim/theft/system locks prior to ordering a replacement device. Any “exchanged” devices that have been stolen or system locked will not be accepted. Payment for services is due upon the order of the replacement device in exchange for customer’s faulty device.
