When your phone is damaged a repair isn't your only option. We may be able to offer you an early upgrade and/or trade-in, even if it's damaged.

Back up your phone
Remove any screen locking passcode
If you have an iPhone with 'Find My iPhone' (FMIP) enabled, either disable it, or have the password available
Remove any Micro SD storage card (if applicable)
Charge your battery
We also recommend you bring a spare phone with you, so you can stay connected. If you don’t have a spare phone we offer a number of low cost phones that you can purchase when you drop off your phone for repair.
We run one of the largest and most sophisticated mobile phone repair facilities in Europe, fixing more than 30,000 smartphones every month. As well as fixing common issues such as screen replacements due to impact damage, we also can fix less common problems, including manufacturer warranty issues.
Depending on the make and model of your phone our Repair & Service Centres will usually be able to fix your phone on-site, usually on the same day providing the required part is available in store. Some models do need to be sent away to be repaired and this can take several days.
On occasion a repair will take longer than usual. Reasons can include the part is not in stock in-store, or we have to send your phone way for repair to our central repairs workshop or, on occasion, back to the manufacturer. We will be able to give you an indication of how long your phone will be take to be repaired if we are unable to complete your repair instore
We are manufacturer accredited to repair most major brands including iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Sony, HTC & LG phones both under and outside of warranty. You can drop into your local store to check if your make and model is repairable and get a free quote.
You don't have to have purchased your mobile phone from us. We fix most makes and models of phones, on all networks, even if they weren't bought from Carphone Warehouse. If you haven't bought your phone from us, remember to bring in your receipt.
If your phone develops a manufacture fault while still under warranty, and is otherwise undamaged, we will be able to complete a repair under your new phone warranty.
If your phone has been damaged, for instance impact or water damage, this may invalidate your warranty repair and the repair may then become chargeable. If you choose to have a chargeable repair by us and your phone then develops a warranty fault you are still covered by your manufacturer’s warranty.
Please note that you may lose any data and stored on your handset therefore if it can you should back up your data before sending the handset in for repair.
