Samsung Galaxy Note7

Update, 27th January

We have suspended all sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note7. Any customer with the device needs to take their Note7 device in to their nearest Carphone Warehouse store where they will be offered a full refund or speak to the team about their options of another device.

 

 

Beginning 31st January, a mandatory battery software update will roll out to all Galaxy Note7 devices in Europe, which prevents these devices from charging and eliminates their ability to work as a mobile device. 

 

 

Statement from Samsung:

“As part of our absolute focus on customer safety, from 31st January we are introducing a new battery software update to all remaining Galaxy Note7 devices in Europe that prevents these devices from charging and eliminates their ability to work as a mobile device. With 94 per cent of devices in Europe already replaced, this new measure is specifically designed to reinforce to the remaining minority of customers to immediately replace their device via their local Galaxy Note7 Replacement Programme, please visit: www.samsung.com/uk/note7exchange/."
