Overview

Familiar design

The classic Motorola design continues with the Style, with a few little tweaks. We see the return of the curved rear, but now with a smaller finger print dimple, assisting with one-handed use.

Quality display

Fronting the X Style is a cinematic 5.7-inch Quad HD display guaranteed to provide an awesome visual experience. With over 500 pixels per inch, you’ll really notice the difference if upgrading from Full HD.

Best in class

Motorola has really pushed the boat out with the new X series, with the Style and Play both featuring amazing 21MP cameras. If that’s not enough, you can also launch the camera with a quick flick of your wrist.

Selfies get even better

Just when we thought selfies couldn’t get any better, Motorola has added a front-facing flash to accompany the 5MP camera. That means no more light-lacking photos of you and your mates out on the tiles.

No more waiting around

With a massive 3,000mAh battery, the X Style certainly won’t be leaving you high and dry if you’re away from the plug for a while. But with Turbo Charging on board too, you’ll be able to enjoy six hours worth of charge from a swift 15 minutes in the wall.

The beating heart

An impressive 1.8GHz hexa-core processor powers the X Style, making multitasking a smooth process. More power means you can do more at once – no need to compromise.

Other features

Moto gesture controls

To launch the 21MP camera, even from the lock screen, twist your wrist twice and never miss those fleeting moments again. And, to capture a selfie in a hurry, repeat the process from the main camera.

Water-repellent coating

Advanced nano-coating technology has created a water-repellent barrier to help protect against the occasional spill and splash.

Motorola X Style is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by MK4android from Not right for me I did want this X Style to be the phone for me and spec. wise it's a great phone for the price. I found it a bit too big for me to use one handed (Eg unlocking was not possible in my left hand as I couldn't reach the enter button - after a while I found I could do this but only if I supported the other corner against my chest). It was also a bit heavy. Speakers and screen were great, shame there is no finger print sensor (that would have solved the one-hand unlocking problem). I have seen comments about Moto sticking with 4x4 grid of icons and not updating to 5x5 but filling the screen 4x4 looked good and there were not too many icons to make it difficult to find what you're looking for. If you want Marshmallow, smile, because this phone wants to do an update from 5.1.1 as soon as you turn it on. I returned the phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob North from Great phone I have used many different Motorola models over the years, and can't understand how blinkered folks are against Motorola phones. Samsung do a good job of brainwashing people. I have just updated to the Style from a first generation Moto X, and am delighted with it. Battery life is good, the screen is sharp and people tend to forget that Motorola have been in this business longer than most, so they have been responsible for most of the major developments along the way. The wife has a Moto G and that is excellent as well. Get the blinkers off people, and swap your other brand for a Moto X. You will not be disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by jbtibor from Best phablet on market It is cheap, storage can be expanded with micro SD card to 128GB, is not full of preloaded apps, battery life is excellent. The weight is a good, it is easy to hold. Back is nice to touch, unlike the cold metal and glass backs of other phones and is not slippery so can be held safely with wet hands especially because is waterproof. Also doesn't slip down the sofa :-)
