    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone for the money Bought this back in January and I can't fault it. Battery life is great and screen is nice and big. This is dual SIM and I have giffgaff and 3 pay as you go as back up. Who needs an iPhone when this is better and a fraction of the price.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone, and excellent value for money My third Moto. I love the 'near pure Android' operating system. Hardly any bloatware and the extra Moto Apps are mostly useful. I love the SD card, NFC and 3.5 mm jack. I like the styling, and the free case adds to it's ruggedness. Seems quite good on the audio side, and the X8 zoom on the camera is great. Battery life is pretty good. I think there are two models you can buy- 1) A single SIM and an SD card or 2) 2 SIM version. Another review talks about limited functionality of the SD card with some apps. I didn't get this problem, and I think any limitation would be an Android issue anyway. My only slight negative issue is that the phone is a bit tall for my liking, but that's the way they all are these days. It does lead to a very nice screen, and it makes using it more of a pleasure.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all rounder but.... Did my regular 18 month upgrade from a G6 plus. The first thing you notice is the great battery life, then nice sound and very adequate display. The big disappointment is the camera which I assumed would be better than the G6 plus which took very sharp pictures especially for its price point. Whilst the G8 plus camera is adequate picture edges are soft to the point of losing all detail and ruining landscape shots even when viewed on a 10 inch tablet. All details in shadows is generally lost in high contrast situations. Depth of field can be poor in landscape shots with for example flowers in the foreground. I even sent shots to Moto customer services who said they were 'normal'.... in that case Motorola have set a very poor standard for 'normal' on it's latest phone.
