Important news for Flexible leasing Customers
From 16th September 2020, we’re no longer offering Flexible Leasing to new or existing customers.
If you are an existing customer and you’ve currently made less than 12 monthly repayments, you’ll no longer be able to upgrade early at the 12-month mark.
All our Flexible Leasing customers now need to make 24 monthly repayments. Then you can choose to:

Carphone Warehouse have stopped offering Flexible Leasing to both new and existing customers. In store, our sales assistants will be happy to talk you through alternative ways to purchase a handset
As CPW have stopped offering Flexible Leasing, existing customers will no longer have the option for an early upgrade after month 12 or at the end of the minimum term. At the end of the minimum 24 months, you can either choose to make 4 additional rental payments and retain use of the phone for the rest of its remaining useful life (being a further 10 years), or return the phone* to one of our CPW stores, click to find your nearest store and our sales assistants will check and return the phone* under the terms and conditions and collection of the monthly payments
After 24 months you can choose to make 4 additional rental payments and retain use of the phone for the rest of its remaining useful life (being a further 10 years)
When you return the phone* to a CPW store after the 24th payment has been made, the handset belongs to the lease provider, ThinkSmart and it will therefore be returned and your rental payments will stop.
After you’ve made the 4 additional rental payments, the handset is yours to retain and it will have a trade in value when you return it to a CPW store.
If you fall behind with payments you’ll be liable for late payment fees. This will have an effect on your credit rating.
The lease provide is ThinkSmart, which is a trading name of RentSmart Limited. RentSmart Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
