The U Play from HTC boasts an eye-catching design. As you turn the phone, you’ll notice the multiple layers of glass on the back reflect light in brilliant colours, only made better by the striking symmetrical build.

Big and bold display

The 5.2-inch Full HD display won’t let you down, showcasing an array of deep blacks and vivid colours. See all your photos and videos like never before.

Just above the Full HD display there’s a 16MP sensor, promising picture-perfect selfies every time. It also means you can film in Full HD, perfect for high-res video-chatting using apps like Skype and Google’s Duo.

High quality camera

Your landscape and portrait photos will look great with a secondary 16MP camera on the back of the phone. Video quality will be smooth and fluid too, with built in optical image stabilisation.

Under the hood

Your new virtual assistant

Sense Companion is HTC’s virtual assistant. It’s always learning from you and is built to make life that little bit easier. It’ll remind you to grab a brolly if it’s forecast to rain, or it can book a table at a restaurant on your behalf.

Fast charging

On the inside there’s a 2,500mAh battery cell, which supports fast charging. So even if you do find yourself running a bit low, 15 minutes plugged in the wall will give you a significant boost.

HTC U Play is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not usual HTC standard Had HTC phones for years this is my fourth,.i do like this phone however it has the same faults as when i had the HTC one mini, screen gets way too hot when being used. Often needs charging 3 times a day even when I havent used it, with no drops battery level from 64% to 1% within an hour without being used. When charging phone gets way to hot. Always gets very hot when on a call. Have contacted HTC but heard nothing from them which surprises me as when I had this problem before with HTC one mini they took the phone to fix it. Although they fixed it getting hot they damaged the phone and wouldn't fox it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use This phone for its price is amazing comparing to a phone like the note 8 as the camera is amazing and the phone is nice and smooth. I have a lot of apps and it still works smooth since late march. This is a great phone would recommend it for anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone Had this phone 4 weeks now and really impressed with it. Although the headphone port is missing its only a miner issue as you get the usonic earphones absolutely free! Battery life is decent enough for those who don't sit on their phones all day doing nothing.
