Design and display

A great view from any angle

The Nokia 6’s impressive display measures 5.5-inches from corner to corner, and has wide viewing angles. So, if you’re watching a film on the train with a mate, neither of you will miss any of the action - even in bright sunlight.

Durable design

Built from a single piece of aluminium, the Nokia 6 is as tough as it is good-looking. It features Corning Gorilla Glass defence on the display, and everything on the inside will be protected too, with the fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.

High quality photographs

At 16MP, the Nokia 6’s camera is well-placed to deliver both impressive photos and videos. It features a technology called phase detection autofocus, which is designed to make sure you never come away with a blurry shot.

Picture-perfect seflies

On the front of the smartphone is an 8MP lens to make sure you get pin-sharp selfies. It as autofocus, too, so if you need a quick snap of the gang, it’ll always look great.

Under the hood

A true Android experience

Pure Android is normally reserved for Google’s own products, but Nokia has chosen to adopt the clean and simplistic user interface, too. Most manufacturers layer their own UI on top of Android, but with the Nokia 6, you get the mobile experience Google designed in house.

Do more with Nokia 6

With a 1.4GHz octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, the Nokia 6 is well-suited to looking after all your multi-tasking needs. There’s also 32GB of internal storage, with the option of adding a microSD card to take your space up by a massive 256GB.

Nokia 6 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value and quality I Bought a Nokia 6 to replace my Wileyfox Swift 2X which started failing. The Nokia is a big phone, quite weighty which I like but also nicely built. Screen and sound seems very good, camera also performs well from the limited times I've used it but a nice clean, crisp shot...more than good enough for me. Battery life is quite respectable, I'm a fairly light user with just a couple of calls a day but mostly messaging and watching YouTube etc, I'm currently on 59%@16hrs use including Bluetooth connection on for my commute. Battery charging seems quite slow but I mostly have this on at night so it's not a deal breaker for me. WiFi & phone signal is generally very good. Overall I would say it's a very good phone, easy to use and doesn't seem to come with all the add on stuff you tend to get with other makes operating on android. No stupid annoying flashing led lights and very functional. You also get the old Nokia start up tune and msg alert tone. The kids won't like it but that's why I do!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5GHz WiFi , Android Pay, Fast GPS lock & SkyDemon This review is for the UK version TA 1033 distributed by CW. I’ve now owned this model for 3 weeks after upgrading from a Lumia 640 WP10. Despite the elegance of the Nokia 6 I will mainly use it in a case. NFC and Android Pay is excellent. I’ve used it almost every day at a range of outlets across the UK. It’s faster than contactless card, works through the case and no failures. If you have a 2GHz/5GHz WiFi hub this phone is 5GHz enabled so can utilize the higher speed. I get more than double my older tablet speed WiFi - 110 Mbps Down 10+ Up on a 150Mbit service. GPS fix is fast and typical satellite fix is 4 secs from 1st launch (at EGBG). Good as an aviation Sat Nav with altitude signal blue flagged in SD tested in flight. Compass magnetometer as well as full gyro sensors maximise position accuracy. Bluetooth not dropped yet. Tethering Hotspot 4G fine. Fingerprint sensor fine. Doesn’t run hot. Camera takes 4s to launch after restarting the phone. Thereafter it launches in under 2s even after cached pages are cleared. Front flash is achieved by screen brightening. Rear is true flash LED. The quick start sheet largest diagram shows how to insert a 2nd sim as alternative to Micro SD. Checking this phone’s IMEI number at IMEI.INFO shows my phone to be dual sim. This remains untested as I prefer to use the second slot for memory expansion. Despite purchasing most of my previous mobiles Sim free the contract offer was excellent and made this phone far cheaper than a celebrated rival. 5stars for quality and provision at this price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average phone Bought this phone as my galaxy s7 died, good andriod phone with latest 7.1.2 update.. does the job, not on the same League as the s7, only things I don't like is no notification led, finger print scanner can be temperamental. Camera not the best.
