Android - Google’s mobile operating system - runs on the vast majority of smartphones on the market including Samsung, OPPO, Motorola, Alcatel, and of course, Google Pixel. But you might have noticed that it looks and performs differently on phones from different brands.
Pure Android - also known as stock or vanilla Android - is the OS as designed and developed by Google with nothing changed or redesigned by the phone manufacturer. Pure Android phones get faster security and software updates, and aren’t slowed down by third-party apps and bloatware. Unsurprisingly, Google Pixel phones offer the purest Android experience available on mobile. And other than that, there aren’t many Android phones with pure Android.
