Data Gifting: Account holder only can gift to other pay monthly plans on the same account in increments of 500MB. No gifting to/from Smart Watches, 4GEE Home or 30-day 4GEE Wi-Fi plans. Data not used in a month does not roll over, allowances are set back to zero at the start of each month. If you are outside your price plans standard countries when your monthly allowances refresh on your bill date the main account holder will not be able to gift data until you return to the UK/EU. Video Data Pass: Data used whilst streaming and downloading video content on Netflix, MTV Play, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, TV Player and BT Sport whilst in the countries included in your Plan allowance will not decrement from your plan’s inclusive data allowance. All other data used when you use the Content Apps will decrement from your plan’s data allowance. You must have some of your plan’s data allowance left else you will be unable to stream content on the Content Apps via your EE plan. The EE Video Data Pass is for your personal, non-commercial use. Roam Further Pass: Access your standard plan allowances in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand in addition to the UK & EU/EEA. Remember, data fair use policy outside UK of 50GB applies. See ee.co.uk/terms for countries and details. Allowances last until next bill or until used up, whichever comes first. Allowances don’t roll over. Our stable links policy applies, as set out in the Plan Terms. Once you have used up the allowance, or hit your 50GB fair use amount, standard rates apply as set out in the Non-Standard Price Guide.
Upgrade Anytime: Smart Plans customers who have purchased directly from EE can upgrade anytime so long as you have had your plan for at least 15 days and are up to date with all your payments. You’ll have to pass a credit check and your new plan must be of the same or higher value. You may have to pay an early upgrade fee and we’ll tell you this before you upgrade. Your old device must be returned in full working order, be able to power up, with any security features such as Find My iPhone disabled, otherwise damaged/missing device charge may apply, see ee.co.uk/upgrade anytime for charges. Your device cannot be returned so ensure all contacts and data have been backed up before sending it to us.
Reserve Data: If you have a Smart Plan with a capped data allowance (i.e. not an unlimited data plan) once you have used up your monthly data allowance you will be able to use Reserve Data. You will still be able to access the internet to do the essentials, but we will keep you connected at a capped speed of 2Mbps. You will regain access to our fastest speeds upon (1) renewal of your monthly plan allowance, (2) by buying one of our data add-ons, or (3) If you are gifted data by someone else in your family account. Once the data add-on or gifted data runs out, you will be able to use Reserve Data again.
On every EE contract the monthly price plan charge will be increased by RPI in March of each year. Other prices, such as call charges and Roaming costs, may also go up during your plan. Your first annual RPI increase will take place in March 2019
