Geek Squad Insurance FAQs

• You can only sign up for Geek Squad insurance within 30 days of buying or upgrading your mobile, laptop or USB modem.
• At the moment we only provide Geek Squad insurance policies for mobiles, laptops or USB modems bought from The Carphone Warehouse.
• You can upgrade your cover within 30 days of signing up and downgrade your cover at any time. Call Geek Squad on 0800 049 6190 to do this.

• If you’ve got a problem with your mobile phone bring it into any Carphone Warehouse store first. We're often able to sort out common problems there and then.

If you do need to make an insurance claim, you can claim by:

• Visiting any Carphone Warehouse store
• Giving us a call on 0800 049 6190
• Email us via the Geek Squad website

When you make a claim, we'll need your name, date of birth, address and the policy number as shown on your Certificate of Insurance, so please have these ready.

Go the Geek Squad website and fill in the straight-forward form.

When will my cover end?

• If you cancel your policy within 14 days of receiving your policy documents, we’ll refund any premium that you have paid and terminate your policy straight away.
• If you cancel after this, we’ll cancel your policy and you’ll continue to be covered until the end of the monthly period covered by your last payment.
• You can request a refund by calling us on 0800 049 1067 (calls may be recorded and monitored). We’ll decide if you're eligible for a refund - if you are we'll pay the money into your account within seven days If you cancel your insurance policy, you will no longer be eligible for Geek Squad Technology Support Services.

• Go to the Geek Squad website and filling in the straight-forward form
• Write us a letter including your name, date of birth, address and the policy number shown on your Certificate of Insurance. Send it to:
