When does my contract end?

Most network providers put the date that your contract starts and ends on your bill. If you get your bill from The Carphone Warehouse, your next upgrade date is written in the top-right corner on the front page of your bill.

What happens if I upgrade before my contract ends?

You can usually upgrade at least a month before your contract ends and enjoy the benefits of your new handset and tariff straight away. If you do, the number of days that was left on your old contract will be added onto your new contract. So if you finish your current agreement 24 days early and move onto a new 12-month contract, your new contract will be 12 months and 24 days long.

Can I upgrade early if I pay off the remainder of my contract?

Can I keep my number if I move to a contract from a Pay as you go mobile?

As you aren't tied to a contract you can upgrade from Pay as you go to Pay monthly whenever you like. If you want to keep your existing mobile number you'll need to get a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your network

I'm a SWAP.it customer. When can I upgrade?

SWAP.it customers can upgrade their mobile during months 9-12 of their contract. To upgrade, take your undamaged handset, battery and battery cover into any Carphone Warehouse store.
