Customer number

A unique number assigned to you, which appears on your contract or any receipt when purchasing a product from The Carphone Warehouse (e.g. Customer: 1234567).

Why is this information required?

The information has been requested to ensure that we are discussing your account details with the correct individual ensuring we respond your query as quickly as possible.

Job reference number

The reference number for the repairs job order. The number can be found on the receipt provided to you when giving your phone for repairs.

My mobile number

The phone number of the mobile you purchased from Carphone warehouse

Network

The name of your service provider e.g. O2 and the type of plan you've purchased e.g. pay monthly

PIN

This is required to grant you quick and easy access to your account information whilst providing you with a high level of security. The default PIN number has been provided in your welcome pack. The first time you use your PIN when calling the O2 customer services at The Carphone Warehouse, you will be prompted to change this from the default number to a four-digit number of your choice. You can also give someone else access to your account by sharing your PIN number.

Policy number

The policy number can be found on your Insurance Certificate and your Customer number can be found on the sales receipt.

Model of the product

The model and the brand of the phone e.g. Nokia 6680
