A new telephone directory of around 15 million mobile phone numbers. The service is run by an independent company called Connectivity and is available over the phone or online. Connectivity is not linked to any mobile operator.
The service does not give out mobile phone numbers but instead, users call the service and ask to be connected to the mobile phone of a person. The service then calls that mobile phone and asks for permission to connect the call. If you use the service and request a number, you’ll either be put through to the person you want, or a text message is sent to them with your details.
Are they likely to have a record of my number ?
The service has been developed using data bought from market research businesses? If in the past you have knowingly (or unwittingly) agreed to take part in market research, then there is a possibility 118800 may have a record of your details.
