There are four different SIM types. You'll need to get the correct SIM for your phone, or it won't fit in the phone's SIM card slot.
A nano SIM is the smallest SIM card and is used in phones like iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5s, 5c and 5, HTC One (M8) and the Nokia Lumia 1520.
This is the second smallest SIM, and is the most common one used in smartphones. iPhone 4 and 4S, Sony Xperia™ Z1, Samsung Galaxy S5 and S4 all use this size.
Another very common SIM size that's used in lots of older smartphones and most feature phones like the Samsung Galaxy Ace, Nokia Asha phones and older BlackBerry phones.
This is the same as a standard SIM but gives older BlackBerry® devices access to BlackBerry services. This is not needed for new BlackBerry phones running BlackBerry 10 OS such as the BlackBerry® Q10.
4G is the new and improved version of 3G. Internet speeds are five times faster, and the internet connection is stronger so your internet won't suddenly slow down. There are already loads of phones available that can connect to 4G networks, while all the big new smartphones of the future will be compatible.

The Effective monthly cost helps you to compare the total amount you'll pay for different deals, including those with an upfront cost, cashback, or bill credits, helping you find the best value deal.
The Effective monthly cost is NOT the amount that will be taken from your bank account by direct debit every month (this is the “Monthly cost”).
Included in the Effective monthly cost figure is:
For example. A contract has an upfront handset cost of £50. The contract is 24 months long, and is £25 per month. This means the total line rental is 24 months x £25, which is £600. If there was £100 cashback, this would be taken into account too, by subtracting it from the total line rental cost. £600-£100 = £500. Add in the handset cost £50+£500 =£550 to give the total contract cost of £550. To get the Effective monthly cost, divide this by the contract length: £550/24 months, to give £22.92.
