We already have the UK's biggest 3G network. Now we've launched the UK's first mobile 4G network together with Fibre Broadband.
This gives you superfast internet - at home, at work and on the go. You can be the first in the UK to enjoy it.
Superfast 4GEE is here, on the UK's first mobile 4G network. It'll make things like downloads, Facebook and YouTube unbelievably quick. Five times quicker than 3G, in fact. You'll also be able to do things you couldn't do before. Like choosing HD films from the EE Film Store and watching them on the way home. Or playing amazing live multiplayer games with your mates.
On 4GEE from EE, it's all possible.
Our engineers are working flat out to roll 4GEE out across the UK, improving our coverage everyday. We're adding 4G coverage to a further 13 cities and towns by the end of April and by the end of 2013 we're planning to have 40 million people in the UK covered.

4G networks will make video streaming and content-heavy website surfing unbelievably quick and you'll also be able to do lots of things you couldn't do before:
- Downloading chunky apps, films or email attachments doesn't have to wait until you get home. Do it all on the go.
- Don't wait until you get home to put on a film. Stream one from our Film Store on the way.
- With 4GEE you can stream live mobile TV on phones, tablets or laptops.
- On 4GEE you can play brilliant multiplayer games with anyone in the world. Online. On a park bench.
- Funny YouTube clip? Skip straight to the funny bit - without waiting for it to catch up.
- Refresh emails, search Google maps or upload photos faster than you could on 3G.
- Download enormous attachments even when you're on the go.
A whopping 99.5% of our existing data customers use less than 5GB of data per month. Naturally, with 4G your data usage might increase because there's so much more you can do.
If you know how much data you currently use each month, and you're planning to buy a 4GEE plan, then we recommend adding half again. This is because, from our research, it's expected that customers will do roughly 50% more on their mobile internet with 4G.

What is the Key difference between 3G & 4G? Speed & 4G is a data-only connection.
What happens if I go over my data allowance? To ensure customers do not go over their allowances EE have introduced data alerts so that customers are aware of when they are approaching their limits. If they want to buy more the browser will take them to a landing page to add a cost bundle, these will last until the end of the billing month and will not roll over.
Will 4G be available on Orange or T-Mobile? No, EE will be the only brand to offer 4G.
Will my current phone work on 4G? You'll be able to check your coverage for 4G online.
