Camera quality Screen size Operating system Processor name and model Talk time (up to)
5MP 3.8" Android Gingerbread 2.3 800MHz dual core NovaThor processor Up to 7 hours 30 minutes talk time

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 gives efficient multitasking and high-quality graphics for apps and games, all in a sleek & light body. There are 450,000+ apps too, so you’ll have all the socialising and games you like.

The essential tech specs.

Inside the Ace 2 is a 1,500mAh battery that’s good for 640 hours of standby and 7 hours 30 minutes of talk time. The Ace 2 runs Android Gingerbread but there is a free upgrade to the newer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The screen is excellent for the price – at 3.8” in size combined with a resolution of 480x800 gives a screen sharpness of 246 pixels per inch (PPI). The camera is 5MP and records 720p HD video, and there’s 4GB of on board storage. If that’s not enough pick up a microSD card up to 32GB in size for more space (card sold separately).

TNo performance limitations.

To be a great phone in these hi-tech times, a smartphone needs plenty of power. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is equipped with an 800MHz dual core processor, enabling it to multitask, display high quality graphics and power through even the most demanding apps all day long.

5MP camera.

You'll have a powerful 5MP camera with you at all times with the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, so you'll never miss those classic family moments. Your best mate on holiday? You can share video calls from anywhere with the built-in webcam. And if you fancy making a quick home movie, you can record in 720p HD for super crisp visuals.

Smooth, slender and sleek.

Like the rest of the Galaxy family, the Ace is a smooth and comfortable phone with a great finish so it looks, well, ace. 10.5mm thick and only 122g in weight, it feels good and solid to grip, and whether you shove it in the pocket of your jeans or throw it into your clutch handbag, it's super portable.

Battery life and operating system

Battery size (in mAh) 1,500 mAh This is the amount of electric charge in the battery of the device, measured in millampere-hours (mAh). In general, the more mAh, the longer your device will last on battery power, although it does depend on usage and the power demands of the device.
