The Griffin Roadtrip FM transmitter with SmartScan allows you to enjoy all of your iTunes and podcasts while in the car. This compact device simply plugs into your car's 12v cigarette lighter and connects to your Apple iPhone or iPod's docking port, powering it up whilst playing your tunes through your car's stereo speakers. LED lights surrounding the 12v connector glow red when your Roadtrip is ready to use, amber when the device is docked and charging, then green when your iPod or iPhone is fully charged.

Griffin Roadtrip has a flexible steel neck, so you can slip your iPod or iPhone into its cradle and then adjust the viewing angle until you can clearly see your iTunes library from the driver's seat. The cradle fits neatly to your iPod and leaves the top free, so you can fit additional compatible accessories like the Griffin iTalk. Cradle adapters are provided for the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, as well as most iPods.

Songs are broadcast through a free FM channel on your radio and the built-in SmartScan technology automatically searches for the three clearest frequencies to broadcast your tunes across. Roadtrip will also store your favourite frequencies to its built-in memory, making it easier to use.

This unique FM transmitter also has a removable module that attaches to any compatible Mac or PC via USB, so you can broadcast music from your computer over the FM radio on a nearby stereo.
