LG, optical image stabilisation and chickens.

Posted on 2 October 2013

If none of that made any sense to you, let Carphone Warehouse explain. LG's latest flagship, the LG G2, has optical image stabilisation, a technology that keeps the phone's camera lens steady, even if your hands are shaking the phone about. To show the world how good it is, LG has made one of the most entertaining adverts we've seen all year. Featuring a chicken, and a man called Dave.

Dave makes special cameras in his 'man cave', with the holy grail of his camera tinkering to get a steady shot, no matter what's happening to the camera. He stumbles across a video of a chicken keeping its head steady, and suddenly hits on the genius idea to make a mini camera helmet for his chicken Lizzie. The rest is LG's advert for the G2, with Lizzie riding motorbikes, power boats and more. No animals were harmed in the making of this video.
