JCB Family
JCB Toughphone family - which one is right for you?
JCB is famous for heavy industrial and agricultural vehicles, as well as its distinctive black and yellow colour scheme. To go along with its heavy duty reputation, JCB created the Toughphone family, which includes the JCB Toughphone Pro-smart, which is an Android smartphone, the JCB Toughphone Sitemaster 2, the JCB Toughphone Sitemaster and the JCB Toughphone Tradesman, which are all feature phones.

What is a Toughphone?
A Toughphone is a mobile phone that has been designed to withstand heavy falls and knocks, and even water, dust and grit, and still function perfectly.
Where they’re different.
JCB Toughphone Pro-smart JCB Toughphone Pro-smart
The JCB Toughphone Pro-smart is perhaps the ultimate damage-resistant smartphone. With its certification against water and dust it’ll hold up against more than just everyday accidents. For a smartphone, this is currently as tough as it gets.

What it’s best for.
Being a smartphone that’s tough and resistant. Taking pictures.
JCB Toughphone Sitemaster 2 JCB Toughphone Sitemaster 2
This is the toughest of the family, with IP67 for total dust and water protection, as well as a pass for the one tonne pressure test and two metre drop test. Along with being super tough, it’s also the most stylish looking of the family.

What it’s best for.
Being the out-and-out toughest. The most stylish Toughphone.
JCB Toughphone Sitemaster JCB Toughphone Sitemaster
The Sitemaster is the second toughest of the family and the most practical. This is because it comes with a laser pointer, built-in torch and a huge 18 day standby time. Throw in WAP internet and a great stand by time and battery life, and it’s got everything for a week away from home.

What it’s best for.
The most practical work tool. Long trips away from mains power.
JCB Toughphone Tradesman JCB Toughphone Tradesman
The Tradesman is the water lover of the family and is the world’s first floating mobile phone. Thanks to IP67 it’s also dust proof. It’s the smallest and lightest too, so if portability is essential, the Tradesman is your Toughphone.

What it’s best for.
Those that work around water. Maximum portability.
The spec differences in a nutshell. Orange highlighting shows the highest spec.
