T-Mobile and Orange launch Network Sharing - Everything, Everywhere™

Everything, everywhere

More signal on your mobile, at no extra cost.

T-Mobile and Orange have joined together to become Everything, Everywhere, the UK's largest mobile phone network.

If you're one of the 28 million Everything, Everywhere customers nationwide, you can now benefit from boosted mobile signal, for free.

Twenty million texts. Five million calls. 4.6 million people opted-in.

Since the big switch on in October 2010, Orange and T-Mobile customers have been opting in to signal sharing. Over 4.6 million people have sent over twenty million texts and made over five million calls, using each others' networks.

From the 1st February until the end of March 2011, all new and existing Orange and T-Mobile customers who are eligible for signal sharing are being automatically activated.*
You won't have to do a thing - your sim card will be updated over the air, so that you can receive signal on both networks. When your phone can't pick up any signal from your network, it will pick up 2G signal from the other network, so you can make calls and send texts.

This means that you may see 'Orange' on your phone screen if you are with T-Mobile, and vice versa. There's no cost associated with signal sharing, and you'll get better coverage while you're out and about.

From the 14th February T-Mobile and Orange will be running a large joint media campaign on signal sharing. You'll be seeing the ad campaign soon on billboards, in magazines, online and on your TV.

There's better coverage for everyone, with Everything, Everywhere.

*You won't be automatically activated on the Everything, Everywhere signal sharing service if you have previously opted out, you are an inactive PAYG customer or you have a specific device that doesn't work properly with the service. You can still opt in yourself through www.t-mobile.co.uk/signal or www.orange.co.uk/signal. You'll be sent the correct phone settings via an over the air (OTA) update, and sent an SMS when your phone has been successfully activated.
