The original edition was one of Samsung's most successful touchscreen phones and the release was followed by the F480 Rockstar Edition, which featured the artist P!NK. The mobile's features do not depart from the original phone, with a 5MP built-in-camera that boasts autofocus, image stabilisation and an LED flash as part of some impressive specs. Photos and videos can be viewed on the device's 2.8 inch touchscreen and fast data transfer abilities allows for the quick organisation of files. A microSD slot allows for the increase of memory, so camera-happy users won't have to worry about storage. For connectivity, Bluetooth is available on short range wireless connections.

Earlier this month, the South Korean manufacturer was looking set to release another mobile, dubbed the Samsung Memoir, which was expected to be released exclusively with T-Mobile in the US. The release of another Samsung touchscreen helps set the mobile company up in the expanding touchscreen market, as the technology becomes popular in the wake of the Apple iPhone. More mobile firms are entering this burgeoning market, including mobile phone giant Nokia, which recently launched its much anticipated Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset. |
