Samsung's latest innovation has been leaked before its planned announcement at Mobile World Congress next week. The Samsung C6625 boasts an almost BlackBerry-like fascia, but differs from the popular business mobile in terms of operating system and features.

Toting Windows Mobile 6.1, the Samsung C6625 comes packing a range of features, including many impressive connectivity and multimedia devices. The 2 megapixel camera is capable of 4x digital zoom and 25fps video recording. The 100MB internal memory can be supplemented by a microSDHC card, meaning users can make the most of the multi-format music playing capabilities the device has. As for connectivity, the new Samsung enjoys Bluetooth 2.0m HSDPA and GPRS.

Email and GPS are also strong features of the phone, the former of which can be accessed with the convenience of a full QWERTY keyboard. This year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) promises to see a great many mobile devices on display by their respective manufacturers.

The C6625 is not the first Samsung device to be leaked, however - so far, over five other handsets have surfaced before their time, and the South Korean manufacturer is not the only one to suffer this malady: Finnish firm Nokia and Illanois-based Motorola have both seen upcoming models hitting the internet before their due date.

The Samsung C6625 has no release date or pricing as yet, though mobile phone blog engadget speculates the cost will be around $365 (£250). Firm details of this, and a release date, are expected to be confirmed at the MWC.
