The photos show BlackBerry CEO John Chen holding both phones and give us a really good look at what to expect from them.

The Passport is meant to have a unique QWERTY keyboard that also acts as a touch-sensitive track-pad, responding to taps and swipes to let you navigate webpages.

Details of BlackBerry’s rumoured flagship phone, the Q30 Windermere, have leaked alongside a couple of new pictures.

The Q30 looks very square and is said to have a 13MP camera, 4” Full HD screen (with a square resolution) and 3GB RAM, which would make it the most powerful BlackBerry ever.

The rumours of a touch sensitive keyboard that works like a trackpad have also been reconfirmed. The leaked details say you can swipe across it to delete words or use it to move a curser in the web browser.

New details of the rumoured BlackBerry Windermere, or Q30, have leaked online.

The new rumour says the phone will be light and thing with a stainless steel frame. On front there’ll be a 4.3” screen with a super-sharp pixel density of 453 pixels per inch and a revolutionary physical QWERTY keyboard that can respond to swipes and taps like a touchscreen.

It’s also thought the phone will have a huge 3,450mAh battery and a 13MP camera with optical image stabilisation.

BlackBerry has announced that it will start selling the Bold 9900 again in a bid to win back some of its old customers.

The Bold 9900 was the last of BlackBerry’s high end phones to run the BlackBerry 7.0 operating system and had a world leading physical keyboard and a touchscreen.

BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 update brings lots of new features

BlackBerry has released an update to its OS 10.2 and it brings quite a few cool new features.

First up, if you have a BlackBerry Z30, Q10 or Q5, the update will give you an FM radio so you can listen to music without an internet connection. All the other updates will come to any BlackBerry running the new software.

You’ll get an offline mode for the browser so you can save webpages for later reading, a new BlackBerry Priority Hub makes it even easier to prioritise messages and you can now respond directly from lock screen notifications.

There’s also better battery optimisations and new battery monitoring tools.

New BlackBerry phones coming in February

BlackBerry has recently signed a deal with Foxconn, the company that makes Apple’s iPhone, that will see it design and produce entry level BlackBerry phones. And now it seems we’ll be seeing the first of these at Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month.

According to Foxconn’s chairman, the two companies will show off “some devices” in Barcelona, although the only possible one we’ve seen leaked is the all-touch BlackBerry Jakarta.
